Job Title: Manager – HR (Plant)

Location: Mira Road

Working Hours:

Salary: ₹8.0 – ₹10.0 LPA


Job Purpose

To manage end-to-end HR operations at the plant, ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements, foster strong employee relations, and support smooth coordination between employees, management, and operations to drive productivity and a positive work environment.


Roles & Responsibilities

1. HR Operations

  • Oversee daily HR operations including attendance, leave administration, and payroll support.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.

2. Recruitment & Staffing

  • Lead blue-collar hiring for the plant.

  • Coordinate with department heads to identify manpower needs and build a strong pipeline.

  • Manage onboarding and orientation, ensuring seamless integration into plant operations.

3. HR Strategy Implementation

  • Align plant HR practices with corporate HR policies and overall business strategy.

  • Support cultural development and organizational change initiatives.

4. Training & Development

  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs for employees.

  • Track training effectiveness and continuous development.

5. Employee Relations

  • Address employee grievances and ensure timely resolution.

  • Act as a bridge between management and workforce to maintain harmony.

  • Manage disciplinary procedures, counseling, and conflict resolution.

6. Compliance & Statutory Requirements

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws (Factories Act, ESIC, PF, etc.).

  • Maintain statutory registers and records.

  • Coordinate with government authorities and manage inspections/audits.

7. Performance Management

  • Support implementation of the performance management system.

  • Facilitate appraisals, feedback discussions, and development plans.

8. Health, Safety & Welfare

  • Promote adherence to health and safety protocols at the plant.

  • Conduct HR-led safety and awareness initiatives.

9. HR Metrics & Reporting

  • Prepare regular HR dashboards and reports.

  • Analyze HR data to support decision-making and plant productivity improvements.


Qualifications & Skills

  • 3–5+ years of experience in manufacturing/plant HR roles.

  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, labour laws, and statutory compliance.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in HRIS tools and MS Office.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced plant environment.

  • Proactive, approachable, and strong leadership orientation.
