We are seeking an experienced Investment Banking professional (AVP/Assistant Director level) with a strong background in corporate finance, M&A, fundraising, and deal execution. The role demands deep sector knowledge, strong investor relationships, and the ability to independently manage end-to-end transactions.
Lead end-to-end transaction execution across M&A, private equity, venture capital, ECM, and DCM.
Independently raise funds through debt, equity, hybrid, and structured products.
Prepare deal collaterals including teasers, CIM, pitch decks, financial models, and investor presentations.
Engage with investors, manage queries, and drive deal closures.
Conduct sector coverage and stay updated on business models, financials, valuations, and market transactions.
Perform detailed financial modelling, valuations (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions), and due diligence.
Manage client relationships with startups, corporates, and institutional investors.
Build and maintain a strong investor network (angels, VCs, PEs, corporates, family offices).
Collaborate with legal, tax, compliance, and sector specialists to ensure smooth execution.
Deliver presentations at conferences, industry forums, and client meetings.
Identify and evaluate promising startup opportunities and new business areas.
Proven track record in investment banking/corporate finance transactions.
Strong knowledge of deal structuring, negotiations, and regulatory filings (SHA/SPA/SSA, term sheets).
Advanced expertise in financial modelling, valuation, and corporate finance.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple live deals with precision and attention to detail.
Strong research and analytical skills for industry and market analysis.
Strategic mindset with problem-solving ability and adaptability to market changes.
MBA/PGDM in Finance/Strategy from Tier-1 B-Schools preferred.
Chartered Accountant / CFA (USA) charter holders will be an added advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
Certifications like CFA, FRM or equivalent are desirable.
Strong academic background in corporate finance, accounting, and investment analysis.
