Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer with over 2 years of experience to design, develop, and optimize our scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Node.js, database management, and cloud technologies, and will thrive on solving complex challenges to drive innovation in our global education platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable backend APIs, microservices, and systems to ensure high performance, reliability, and security.

• Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and design teams to deliver seamless and impactful features.

• Contribute to system architecture, design decisions, and technology innovation.

• Monitor, debug, and continuously improve backend systems for fault tolerance, high availability, and efficient data handling.

• Manage databases (SQL/NoSQL) and implement effective caching strategies.

• Work with cloud and DevOps practices, including AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 2+ years of professional experience in backend development.

• Strong expertise in Backend Development with Node.js, Express.js, and Microservices.

• Solid understanding of System Design, Scalability, and Performance Optimization.

• Experience with Database Management (SQL/NoSQL) and caching strategies.

• Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Preference for candidates with experience in a B2C, product-based startup environment.

• EdTech experience is a good-to-have, but not mandatory.

• A problem-solver who is passionate about building robust, large-scale systems.
