About the Role:
We are hiring a Cloud Engineer to own CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation in a modern cloud environment. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, intermediate expertise in Terraform, and Python for automation and tooling. You will work across cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP to build reliable, scalable, and secure systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, including reusable and composite workflows
Implement matrix builds, caching, artifacts, environments, and deployment strategies
Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including modules, remote state, workspaces, and version pinning
Manage Terraform plans and applies through CI pipelines with drift detection
Write and maintain Python scripts for DevOps tooling, infrastructure tasks, and automation
Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP
Handle IAM roles, permissions, secrets management, and environment promotions (dev → stage → prod)
Enable containerized application delivery using Docker
Work with Kubernetes at a basic level (preferred)
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system reliability, performance, cost, and security
Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and operational runbooks
Must-Have Qualifications:
5–6 years of experience in Cloud, DevOps, or Platform Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, including:
Environment protection rules
OIDC authentication to cloud providers
Self-hosted runners
Reusable workflows
Intermediate experience with Terraform, including:
Module design
Remote state backends
Workspaces and provider management
Intermediate Python skills for:
CLI utilities
API integrations
Serverless functions (Lambda / Cloud Functions)
Strong knowledge of Git, branching strategies, and Docker
Understanding of networking, IAM concepts, and cloud security basics
Experience with observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar
Strong communication skills and ownership mindset
Nice to Have:
Experience with Kubernetes and Helm
Knowledge of HashiCorp Vault or AWS SSM
Policy-as-code tools (OPA)
Security scanning tools such as Snyk or Trivy
Cost optimization strategies in cloud environments
Experience working in healthcare or other regulated industries
