Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer (Lead) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS S3, Data Ingestion, Snowflake, SQL, JSON, and Analytics & Reporting (QuickSight or equivalent). You will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable data solutions, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in data analysis, visualization, and business intelligence, along with the ability to lead teams and drive strategic data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Visualization:

   • Design and develop complex data visualizations using Tableau (or equivalent tools) to communicate insights to stakeholders.

   • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.

   • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs and business metrics.

2. Business Intelligence:

   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop effective data solutions.

   • Develop and maintain data models, databases, and data warehouses to support BI initiatives.

   • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across systems.

3. Data Storytelling:

   • Create compelling data stories and visual narratives to communicate insights effectively to business leaders.

   • Develop presentations and reports for senior management to inform key business decisions.

4. Data Management:

   • Develop and maintain data governance policies, ensuring compliance with data protection and regulatory standards.

   • Collaborate with IT teams to manage and optimize data infrastructure.

5. Leadership and Mentoring:

   • Mentor and guide junior data analysts and engineers to enhance their technical and analytical capabilities.

   • Lead data analysis projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

   • Work closely with senior leadership to define data strategy and vision.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in AWS S3, Snowflake, SQL, JSON, and Analytics/Reporting tools (QuickSight or equivalent).

• Strong proficiency in Tableau – including dashboard design, data modeling, and visualization.

• Sound understanding of data analysis, statistical methods, and data mining techniques.

• Expertise in data manipulation and transformation using SQL and cloud data services.

• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms (AWS or Microsoft Azure).

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Analysis, or Business Intelligence.

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
