We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Field Delivery Executive to join our growing team. This is a critical role that requires passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences while efficiently managing the delivery process. The Field Delivery Executive will be the face of Bluedart, ensuring the timely and secure delivery of packages to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive packages and verify their condition and accuracy against the delivery manifest.

• Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently using navigation tools and local area knowledge.

• Deliver packages to customers within the designated timeframe and obtain necessary signatures or confirmations.

• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving delivery-related issues.

• Maintain delivery vehicle (if applicable), ensuring cleanliness and reporting maintenance needs.

• Record and report delivery data, including proof of delivery (POD), using handheld devices or systems.

• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies during the delivery process.

• Handle cash on delivery (COD) transactions responsibly and remit as per company procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Two-wheeler license preferred (ability to drive a motorcycle desirable).

• Minimum 1 year of experience in delivery or customer service (logistics/courier industry preferred).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent time management and organizational ability.

• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet delivery targets.

• Basic proficiency in handheld devices and navigation apps (Google Maps, Waze, etc.).

• Physically fit to lift and carry packages up to 25 kg.

• Strong local area knowledge for effective navigation.

• Ability to accurately handle cash and COD transactions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with logistics/courier companies such as FedEx, DHL, or Gati.

• Certification in logistics or supply chain management.

• Familiarity with delivery management software.

• Experience in resolving customer complaints effectively.

Work Environment
This role involves both indoor and outdoor work. The employee will be based at an assigned Bluedart facility or hub, with most of the day spent driving and interacting with customers. The environment is fast-paced, especially during peak seasons, and may require working in varying weather conditions. Bluedart provides uniforms, handheld devices, and all necessary equipment.
