Role Overview:
The Finance & Accounts Executive will be responsible for handling end-to-end GST, taxation, statutory compliances, accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting for the organization. The role requires hands-on experience in indirect taxation, real estate accounting, vendor bill verification, monthly returns, and statutory documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
GST, Taxation and Compliance:
Prepare and file GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-7, GSTR-9, and other applicable returns.
Manage GST input tax credit, reconciliation, and ensure compliance with real estate GST regulations.
Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and filing of TDS returns.
Ensure compliance with the Income Tax Act, GST Act, and applicable amendments.
Coordinate with tax consultants for assessments, notices, and statutory queries.
Accounting and Financial Operations:
Record daily accounting entries such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal vouchers, receipts, and payments.
Verify and process vendor bills, contractor payments, and perform reconciliations.
Maintain project-wise cost allocation and booking entries.
Prepare project MIS reports, ageing reports, cash flow statements, and ledger accounts.
Support month-end closing, provisioning, and preparation of balance sheet schedules.
Reconciliation and Audit Support:
Perform bank, vendor, GST, TDS, and ledger reconciliations.
Prepare audit documentation and support statutory and internal audits.
Assist in year-end closing, ledger scrutiny, and preparation of financial statements.
Coordination and Documentation:
Coordinate with Sales, CRM, Legal, Projects, and Procurement teams.
Maintain proper documentation of invoices, agreements, challans, and statutory records.
Support management in compliance monitoring and responding to tax authority communications.
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in finance, accounts, GST, and taxation, preferably in the real estate industry.
Strong knowledge of GST laws, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems or Tally and advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented, disciplined, and reliable in handling financial data.
