Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced GIS Developer with 5+ years of experience in Postgres GIS development. The candidate should have strong expertise in open-source GIS technologies and hands-on experience in building GIS development platforms. This role requires strong knowledge of GIS concepts, geographic data structures, and Python development. Immediate to 20-day notice period candidates preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain GIS applications using open-source tools such as Geoserver, Postgres, OpenLayers, and QGIS

• Work with geographic databases and perform both front-end and back-end development

• Implement and optimize GIS platforms and tools

• Work with PostGIS, GEO Maps API, and various GIS data structures

• Develop scripts and tools using Python

• Collaborate with teams to deliver robust GIS solutions

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Postgres GIS development

• Strong experience with open-source GIS technologies (Geoserver, Postgres, OpenLayers, QGIS)

• Strong understanding of GIS concepts, PostGIS, GEO Maps API, and spatial data structures

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Python

• Preferably completed academic studies related to GIS
