Job Purpose

To ensure that the organization adheres to all statutory, regulatory, and internal HR compliance requirements while building robust governance frameworks, mitigating risk, and supporting ethical and legally compliant HR practices across the company.


Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Regulatory Oversight

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment and labor laws.

  • Monitor updates in labor legislation and amend company policies accordingly.

  • Ensure alignment with organizational policies, standards, and audit norms.

2. Policy Development

  • Frame, develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.

  • Regularly review and update compliance-related documentation.

  • Ensure policies reflect best practices and legal standards.

3. Training & Awareness

  • Conduct employee awareness and training programs on HR compliance.

  • Educate managers and teams on policy implementation and adherence.

4. Compliance Audits

  • Plan and execute periodic internal audits related to HR processes.

  • Identify non-compliance gaps and drive corrective and preventive actions.

5. Investigations

  • Lead investigations into compliance violations, grievances, or complaints.

  • Document findings and recommend appropriate disciplinary actions.

6. Record Keeping

  • Maintain accurate and secure employee records in line with statutory requirements.

  • Ensure documentation of HR processes, approvals, and decisions.

7. Reporting

  • Prepare and present compliance reports for senior leadership.

  • Highlight risk areas and recommend improvement initiatives.

8. Advisory Role

  • Provide guidance to management on HR legal matters and compliance practices.

  • Act as a resource for employees regarding policy and compliance concerns.

9. Risk Management

  • Identify potential HR compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Monitor ongoing compliance activities across departments.


Desired Candidate Profile

  • 8–10 years of strong experience in HR compliance, employee relations, and statutory processes.

  • Thorough knowledge of Indian labor laws and regulatory frameworks.

  • Experience handling internal audits, policy administration, and investigations.

  • Strong communication, integrity, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills.
