Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Hyperion Developer with 9+ years of experience in Oracle Hyperion/EPM technologies. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on expert with strong technical knowledge in Essbase, Planning, HFM, Data Integration, Reporting, and Automation, capable of delivering robust financial planning, consolidation, and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize Essbase cubes (ASO/BSO) including calc scripts, MDX queries, and performance tuning.

• Build and maintain Hyperion Planning applications, including forms, business rules, metadata, and task lists.

• Develop and support Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) applications for consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and currency translations.

• Implement and manage data integration processes using FDMEE/ODI, including ERP/GL data loads and mappings.

• Design and deliver financial reports using Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio and Smart View.

• Automate processes using MaxL, SQL, and batch/shell scripting to ensure system efficiency and stability.

• Manage application migrations, environment upgrades, user security, and performance tuning across Dev/Test/Prod environments.

• Collaborate closely with Finance and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable, efficient Hyperion solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 9+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Hyperion Development.

• Expertise in:

  • Essbase Development – ASO/BSO, calc scripts, MDX.

  • Hyperion Planning – applications, metadata, business rules.

  • HFM – consolidations, eliminations, translations.

  • Data Integration – FDMEE/ODI, ERP/GL integration.

  • Reporting – FR Studio, Smart View.

  • Automation – MaxL, SQL, scripting.

  • Environment Management – migrations, security, tuning.

• Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

• Proven experience in end-to-end implementations and complex financial system support.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
