Oracle Fusion Functional Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Finance & SCM Functional Consultant to provide end-to-end functional support, process optimization, and business transformation within Oracle Fusion applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with business users, BU Heads, and IT teams to ensure smooth functioning and continuous improvement of Finance and Supply Chain modules.


Key Responsibilities:

Financial (Impact to TG):

  • Provide daily functional support to users and troubleshoot business problems in Oracle Fusion Finance and SCM modules.

Customer (Internal/External):

  • Maintain strong working relationships with Business Unit Heads and BU Champions.

  • Communicate effectively and professionally in meetings and emails.

  • Challenge existing business processes constructively to drive improvements.

  • Demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude and work collaboratively to implement optimal solutions.

Process:

  • Collaborate with business units to understand processes, requirements, and objectives related to SCM and Finance.

  • Lead requirement gathering workshops, analyze business needs, and translate them into functional specifications.

  • Troubleshoot and enhance existing business processes within the Oracle Fusion ecosystem.

  • Prepare and maintain functional design documents, workflows, user manuals, and other key documentation.

  • Conduct end-user training and provide ongoing post-go-live support to ensure adoption and usability.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, team leads, and project managers to deliver quality solutions.

  • Prepare test scripts and test cases, coordinate UAT, and ensure successful deployments.

  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud modules in:

    • Finance: Accounts Receivable, Payables, Assets, General Ledger, Cash Management

    • SCM: Self Service, Procurement, Sourcing, Inventory Management

Innovation:

  • Stay current with Oracle Fusion Finance and SCM updates, trends, and best practices.

  • Recommend and design innovative, transformational solutions to enhance business operations.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Applications – Finance and SCM (Functional).

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience supporting Oracle Fusion SAAS (Finance and SCM modules).

  • At least one end-to-end Oracle Fusion implementation as a Functional Consultant in Finance and SCM.

  • Exposure to Fusion Data Migration is an added advantage.

  • Oracle Fusion Certification preferred.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
