Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer II (SDE – 2) to join our growing technology team. You will design, develop, and optimize scalable backend modules and intuitive frontend components for our omniretail platform. The ideal candidate has strong experience in PHP frameworks, modern frontend technologies, and database management, with a passion for building reliable, high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend modules using PHP frameworks (CakePHP, Laravel, Yii, or Phalcon).
Build intuitive and responsive frontend components using Angular/React/Vue, along with HTML5, CSS3.
Ensure application performance, reliability, and code quality through peer reviews and automated testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and business stakeholders to implement the product roadmap.
Participate in Agile ceremonies – sprints, daily standups, retrospectives – ensuring timely delivery.
Own modules end-to-end, driving scalability, optimization, and continuous improvements.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and manage database structures in MySQL.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2–5 years of proven experience in software development.
Strong hands-on experience with PHP frameworks (CakePHP, Laravel, Yii, or Phalcon).
Solid understanding of frontend technologies – Angular/React/Vue, HTML5, CSS3.
Proficiency in database management (MySQL) and RESTful API development.
Strong knowledge of scalability, performance optimization, and code quality practices.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative environment.
