About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated PHP & WordPress Developer who can build, customize, and maintain dynamic websites and web applications. The ideal candidate should have experience with WordPress themes, plugins, custom development, and strong knowledge of PHP fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites (themes & plugins).

• Customize existing plugins/themes as per project requirements.

• Create custom WordPress plugins, modules, or integrations.

• Convert Figma/PSD/UI designs into responsive WordPress pages.

• Build and maintain PHP-based web applications or APIs (if needed).

• Troubleshoot performance, security, and compatibility issues.

• Work closely with designers, backend teams, and project managers.

• Ensure SEO-friendly, mobile-responsive, and high-performance delivery.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong expertise in PHP, WordPress, MySQL, and JavaScript/jQuery.

• Hands-on experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.

• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap.

• Experience with cPanel, hosting, deployment, and basic server management.

• Good understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.

• Debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Laravel / CodeIgniter (basic)

• Understanding of SEO technical optimization

• Knowledge of WooCommerce

• Familiarity with Git / GitHub

• Knowledge of security practices and performance optimization

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
