The Professor of Shalakya
Tantra will be responsible for teaching, research, and clinical practice in the
field of Shalakya Tantra, which deals with the diagnosis, treatment, and
management of diseases related to the eyes, ears, nose, and throat according to
Ayurvedic principles.
Key
Responsibilities:
1. Teaching and Education:
§ Teach
undergraduate and postgraduate students in Shalakya Tantra.
§ Develop
and update curriculum, course materials, and teaching methodologies.
2. Research and Publication:
§ Conduct
research in Shalakya Tantra and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals.
§ Guide
students in research projects and dissertations.
3. Clinical Practice:
§ Provide
clinical services in Shalakya Tantra at the institution's hospital or clinics.
§ Develop
and implement treatment protocols and guidelines.
4. Administration and Service:
§ Participate
in departmental meetings and contribute to administrative decisions.
§ Take
on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Head of the Department.
Requirements:
1. Qualifications:
§ MD/MS
in Shalakya Tantra or equivalent from a recognized institution.
§ Teaching
experience of minimum 10 year in Shalakya Tantra at the undergraduate or
postgraduate level.
2. Skills:
·
Strong knowledge of Ayurvedic principles and
practices in ophthalmology and ENT.
·
Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills.

Ability to work in a team and build strong
relationships.
