As a Release Manager at Tata Digital, you will play a key role in orchestrating the seamless and timely delivery of TataNeu's mobile app and platform services. This is a high-impact role that involves working across engineering, product, QA, and operations to manage release schedules, ensure scope readiness, drive automation, and improve quality through structured governance. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience in release management within cloud-native environments and a strong desire to contribute to a large-scale, fast-moving consumer technology platform.
Key Responsibilities
Release Planning & Execution
Develop and maintain detailed release plans for mobile app (iOS/Android), web (PWA), and backend API deployments.
Manage end-to-end release lifecycle activities including development handoff, environment readiness, testing, and production deployment.
Ensure releases are delivered with minimal scope and schedule variance, while meeting performance and quality benchmarks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, QA, DevOps, and SiteOps to ensure cross-team alignment and milestone delivery.
Lead release readiness reviews, Go/No-Go meetings, and post-release retrospectives.
Communicate status, risks, and action plans to internal and external stakeholders effectively.
Automation & CI/CD Integration
Drive automation-first release practices through CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Work closely with DevOps to ensure deployment orchestration, environment setup, and version tracking.
Monitor release health using metrics and dashboards; optimize for frequency, reliability, and rollback readiness.
Risk Management & Governance
Maintain high standards of release governance by ensuring all sign-offs from QA, Security, Architecture, and Performance teams are completed prior to launch.
Track and resolve release blockers, defects, and post-deployment issues in a structured and time-bound manner.
Ensure compliance with audit and operational guidelines for app publishing and backend services.
