Position: SAP VC Lead Developer


Location: GCC (Hyderabad)


Scope of Role

Regal Rexnord’s IT team is seeking a seasoned Variant Configuration (VC) Lead Developer to strengthen our enterprise applications team. This role is ideal for a senior professional with deep technical expertise in SAP architecture, and solution design — as well as leadership experience in guiding junior team members and influencing strategic direction.
The role is also expected to learn and support Logik.ai tool which is a headless variant configuration tool powering Omni-channel configurator experiences across internal tools Ike Salesforce and website.

You will be responsible for leading the design, development, and governance of advanced VC models that support global configurable product offerings. As a key technical authority, you collaborate across product, engineering, and IT teams to ensure that our SAP VC solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with evolving business goals.
You’ll also mentor junior professionals, review work quality, and drive improvements in configuration strategy, standards, and integration practices.

You will work closely with Logik.ai admin team to help with the migration of VC models from ERP to Logik.ai

Key Responsibilities

·         Lead the Design, development, and optimization of complex VC models across SAP.
Build Blueprints in Logik.ai tool for which the resource will be trained.

·         Drive strategic initiatives to enhance scalability, performance, and reuse within the SAP VC ecosystem

·         Work as a peer and mentor to guide Digital Solutions team members in highlighting VC model design and best practices in integrating Salesforce and ERP.

·         Review configuration models built by other team members and provide expert feedback

·         Mentor, guide, and supervise junior professionals and associate technologists
Establish and enforce modeling standards, documentation protocols, and QA processes

·         Support SAP VC integration with SD, MM, PP, and other relevant SAP modules
Monitor and adopt emerging SAP VC innovations and best practices to enhance internal capabilities

Qualifications

Technical Skills Required:

·         Deep hands-on VC model building experience within a complex manufacturing environment- 7~10 yrs.

·         A technical professional with 2+ full lifecycle SAP R/3 implementations.

·         Advanced SAP ECC 6.0 VC knowledge and experience.

·         Thorough understanding of all aspects of a variant configuration product model including classes, characteristics, configuration profiles, ALE, tables, variant pricing, functions, dependency nets with constraints, BOM class nodes, preconditions, selection conditions, procedures, complex super bills of material and routes and work centers.

·         Experience in SAP S/4HANA or ECC environments, with solid understanding of system architecture

·         Eager to learn new configurator tool Logik.ai

·         Strong integration knowledge with modules such as SD, MM, and PP

·         Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience); advanced degree preferred

·         Strong Excel skills and desire to learn and incorporate AI workflows

Leadership & Strategic Skills:

·         Proven ability to lead development initiatives and provide inputs to key stakeholders

·         Experience mentoring and supervising junior developers or technologists

·         Excellent analytical, architectural, and decision-making skills

·         Strong communication and collaboration skills across business and technical teams

·         Ability to operate independently and manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously

Preferred (Not Required):

·         Experience with SAP IPC or AVC including relevant certification

·         Familiarity with SAP Product Configuration Lifecycle Management (PCLM)

·         Familiarity with SFDC (ideally with Sales Cloud or CPQ) or Logik.ai tool

·         Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps workflows
