Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline management, Linux administration, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building automation solutions, maintaining observability tools, and ensuring security and compliance within cloud-native environments.

Key Responsibilities

• CI/CD Pipeline Management

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalent.

  • Manage Jenkins servers and pipelines, ensuring reliability and scalability.

  • Build custom tools and automation to streamline development and deployment processes.

• Infrastructure & Configuration

  • Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.

  • Configure and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Implement Helm configuration and package management for Kubernetes deployments.

• Monitoring & Reliability

  • Manage observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.

  • Perform root cause analysis for production incidents.

  • Implement auto-scaling, self-healing, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure system health.

• Security & Compliance

  • Ensure system security with automated vulnerability scanning and integration of tools like SonarQube.

  • Follow DevSecOps best practices to maintain compliance.

• Documentation & Collaboration

  • Create and maintain runbooks, documentation, and SOPs for repeatable DevOps tasks.

  • Collaborate with development teams to align DevOps practices with product delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).

• Hands-on production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficiency in Linux administration and troubleshooting.

• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Groovy.

• Solid knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).

• Familiarity with monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

• Experience with Git and branching strategies.

• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Helm for Kubernetes package management.

• Exposure to cloud-native architecture migrations.

• Knowledge of database administration and migration (PostgreSQL, Oracle).

• Familiarity with Security-as-Code / DevSecOps practices.

• Programming experience in any modern language (e.g., Java, Go, Node.js) is a plus.
