Key responsibilities include:
Leading architecture discussions and defining scalable, secure solutions.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, DevOps, UI/UX).
Developing Proof of Concepts for IIoT platforms.
Ensuring integration with industrial control systems (PLC/SCADA, OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, etc.).
Driving engineering excellence via coding standards, CI/CD, and mentoring.
Coordinating with cybersecurity teams to align with industrial security standards (IEC 62443).
Supporting stakeholders with roadmaps and solution feasibility.
Technical skill requirements:
Strong in C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+, microservices, REST APIs.
Cloud expertise in Azure or AWS.
Familiarity with IoT platforms (Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT Core) and industrial protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, Profinet, EtherNet/IP).
Tools: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), Azure Functions, Event Hubs, CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, InfluxDB (time-series).
Messaging systems: Kafka, RabbitMQ, MQTT brokers.
Git/GitHub/Bitbucket for version control.
Certifications: Cloud or Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure/AWS Solutions Architect, TOGAF 9) are preferred but not mandatory.
