Emerson is looking for a passionate and hands-on Technical Architect with strong experience in designing and delivering scalable, high-quality cloud-native applications. The role involves leading architecture, driving best practices, and working closely with cross-functional Agile teams in a SAFe-based environment. You will contribute to strategic digital initiatives using modern cloud, AI/ML, and microservices technologies while collaborating with global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures (compute, storage, scaling, security).
Translate business and project requirements into technical cloud architectures and solutions.
Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and development standards.
Modernize existing systems and integrate new applications using cloud-native approaches.
Ensure security, compliance, and governance across cloud platforms.
Monitor cloud performance, availability, and costs; implement optimization strategies.
Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME), mentor team members, and promote best practices.
Collaborate with Product Owners, UX, QA, and Security teams to align technical and business goals.
Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and architectural excellence.
Qualifications:
M.Sc / B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech (CS / IT / Electronics).
7–9 years of total experience with 2–3 years as Technical Architect.
Led architecture and design of at least one cloud-native project on Microsoft Azure.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong experience with microservices architecture (Saga, CQRS, event-driven systems, service bus).
Solid understanding of architectural styles and design patterns.
Excellent communication skills for technical and executive stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
Frontend: Angular, Angular Material, HTML5, TypeScript, WebSockets, SSE.
Backend: C#, .NET Core, NodeJS/NestJS, REST APIs, Entity Framework, Dapper.
Databases: PostgreSQL, NoSQL, data modelling and database design.
Application security, IAM (Okta, OAuth 2.0).
Code quality & security tools: SonarCloud, Coverity, Blackduck, AquaSec, ReSharper.
Gen AI exposure and GitHub Copilot.
